At St George’s / checkout Checkout

After a pleasant morning at the last life drawing session of the term at the Folk House I popped up to the gardens at  St George’s on Brandon Hill, one of my favourite peaceful spots. It was lovely, as you can see:

Hello to all the people I met at Renato’s on Thursday. I’m sorry that my toothache caused me to take off before the end of the evening, but I was really beginning to flag. I hope to meet up again with you all soon.

One topic of conversation was the Checkout art market (which my friend Ms EK, the mysterious proprietor of EAK Enterprises is attending). It’s the final one in the series I’m told, and there is to be further hootenanny involved with a post-market showing of the World Cup. I hope they’ll forgive me putting their poster in here — go and check out the lively goods on sale including the amazing coffee cakes and all day BBQ. May it prove not to be the last! (Not least because I hope to make some more work someday soon!)
