Smoke-Flower

Wandering the city at night, one comes to neighbourhoods never seen before, or transformed by moonlight. The city takes on a mysterious aspect, its topography seeming to shift and tangle as we move dreamlike through its empty streets.

Such mysterious times are good for retrieving memories or uncovering secrets locked in the past. Smoke-Flower imagines one such journey into a city changed by memory and the strange geography of the night.

.

Bristol is my adopted home city, and one whose geography is far from simple, riddled with waterways, coombes and valleys. It holds many secrets.
