Radio is about communication, and two uncertainties pertinent to communication. The first is uncertainty regarding the solipsistic notion that the world we perceive - including the people in it - may be illusory. The second regards the uncertainty inherent in electromagnetic energy as waves/particles. In Radio these uncertainties intertwine.
Messages travel across the universe or from the nearest station and provide information about the world we’re in. How much of it we understand, how much of it we perceive, is often a matter of how we choose to think about it. Radio is a book about the fragile nature of reality and how the way we think about it can make the difference between perceiving or not perceiving something.
